In eight years Bazar recorded two studio albums: self-titled Bazar (1988) and Amerika (1990). They played on many festivals and won three times the festival MMS. They produced many evergreen hits like Dober dan, Portorož 1905, Amerika, Tina and Zate to name a few.
After eight years and more than 1000 live shows they split in 1992.
(2.) Bazar was also a quite political bluesy psych/progressive rock band from Norway with radical texts. They released two albums, Det er ikke enkelt in 1973 and Drabantbyrock in 1974. Members of the band where Ole Henrik Giørtz, Per Vestaby, Bent Patey, Rolf Aakervik, Pål Søvik and Kåre Virud.
