The album is much more diverse variety of styles than any of their previous efforts ranging from Flamenco, Retro Rock, Alternative Dance to Reggae, Acid House and Eurodisco. "Pop Life" includes four hit singles on the UK Singles chart. Those singles are "Preacher Man" (#20 UK Pop), "Only Your Love" (#27 UK Pop), "Long Train Running" (#30 UK Pop), and "Tripping on Your Love" (#73 UK Pop & #14 U.S. Dance). On March 17, 2007, Rhino Records reissued the first six studio albums by Bananarama. All reissues are remastered and each album includes several remixes, B-sides and bonus tracks.
