In 2004 his sophomore album "Here I Am" followed, also produced by Dieter Bohlen and once again resulting in several chart hits, before Alexander decided to end the working relationship with Dieter Bohlen. Instead of the Bohlen-typical mainstream pop is his third album relased in 2006 under the title "Attention!" featured some rock influences. While doing OK business it was a often seen as a disappointment after the chart success of his two prior releases.
He then turned to the world of stage musicals and stared in the Berlin production of "Tanz der Vampire" ("Dance of the Vampires", featuring music by Jim Steinmann). When the show closed in early 2008 he released his fourth album with a new set of producers and for the first time featuring songs in German. Read more on Last.fm.
