Born in Chicago in 1987, Adron was classically trained on the piano from the age of four. At twelve she taught herself to play guitar by working out Beck songs, and her early influences include Connie Francis and the Beatles. That same year her family moved to Atlanta where she began writing her own material and playing publically. Two years later she was performing at the nationally renowned Eddie’s Attic, learning sitar, and preparing to graduate from high school. After a year at a women’s liberal arts college in southern California she began to pursue music full time, and in the spring of 2006, just months before her 20th birthday, she returned to Atlanta and recorded her debut album. She now resides in Brooklyn.
